Assume the Sale

You HAVE to assume the sale.

In other words, always think that whatever the best-case scenario is...WILL HAPPEN.

If this is your mindset - you'll naturally speak and act in ways that will get you to the finish line.

Your tone will be more confident.
Every word that comes out of your mouth will be more persuasive. "So let's go ahead and..."

When you're in this mindset of already making the sale, the prospect feels it as well. They will progress down your path.

Here's a great, simple example of how this works for our team -Instead of our reps asking the gatekeeper
"Do you have Joe's cell phone number?"

The reps assume the gatekeeper has the decision-maker's cell phone-
"What's Joe's cell phone number?"

Sure, this may be a small change...but the data shows us that by asking the 2nd version, we collected 2X the number of cell numbers. That makes a huge difference at the end of the month.

Here's the takeaway -
You always have a desirable outcome. Reverse engineer every single thing you should say and do to increase the likelihood that you reach that outcome. By always assuming they are going to go along with you, your actions will FOR SURE change. The prospect will be MUCH more likely to actually buy from you.
