The Growth of Modern Sales
Did you know inside sales is growing 300% faster than traditional outside sales?
This shouldn't surprise many of you.
If you're wondering why this is the case, I'll give you 4 reasons.
1. Efficiency -> You can reach out to more leads, speaking with more decision-makers, scheduling more meetings, closing more sales.
2. Smarter Salespeople -> There are SO many amazing tools and technologies that support sales, making it easier to automate workflows, processes and accelerate prospects along their journey to the finish line. Aka digital/modern selling.
3. Coachability -> It's obviously much easier for inside salespeople to receive effective coaching then outside salespeople. Advances in technology give us luxuries such as listening to phone conversations. It's difficult for managers to provide strong feedback to outside salespeople unless they are shadowing them in person for those meetings. Expensive. Yikes.
4. Scalability -> Inside salespeople can actually follow the proven to work script and playbook when it's sitting in front of them.
Fortunately, most sales teams have already hopped on this train.
